The institute offers various PG programmes in Information Technology & Management including 5-year integrated P.G. course leading to (B.Tech. +MBA) / (B.Tech. + M.Tech.) besides postgraduate M. Tech. and MBA courses. The institute also offers doctoral programme. The Institute invites applications from highly qualified and strongly motivated candidates for faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor in the disciplines of VLSI/Microelectronics, Computer Architecture, Algorithms, Communication and network, Ad hoc/Wireless Communication, Information Security, Database, Robotics, Web/Multimedia Technologies, distributed Computing, Analytics, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Business Communication/ language, Cyber Laws. Assistant Professors Qualification and Experience: Ph.D. degree with First Class or equivalent (in terms of grade etc.) at the preceding degree and having a consistently good academic record. A minimum of three years teaching / research/ professional experience excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. Candidate should have demonstrated research and development capabilities in terms of publications in reputed journals and conference proceedings/ patents etc. Basic degree in respective branch is preferred. Candidates must have (a) consistently good academic record (b) ability and aptitude for teaching undergraduate as well as post graduate courses. The Selection Committee may relax the professional experience requirements for candidates with exceptional academic records. Candidates not having requisite experience /qualifications (Ph.D. thesis submitted or likely to submit in near future) may also be considered for appointment on a lower academic grade pay. Pay-Scale- Pay Band (PB-3): Rs.15600-39100/- with AGP: Rs. 7000/- or Rs. 6000/- for fresh Ph.D.s. Minimum Pay in pay-band: Rs. 20150/- . The gross salary may range between Rs 44,000 to Rs 47,000 which includes DA/HRA, conveyance allowance, etc. Institute offers other facilities such as allowance for attending national/international conferences, Faculty Initiation Grant and other enablers for professional development.
